Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections use precisely mapped botulinum toxin to relax overactive facial muscles. The aim is not a frozen face—it’s calmer expressions, smoother skin, and natural movement. Doses are tailored to your anatomy and facial dynamics so you keep your character while softening lines.

What can anti-wrinkle injections improve?

  • Frown lines (glabella) and horizontal forehead lines
  • Crow’s feet around the eyes
  • Bunny lines on the nose
  • Subtle brow elevation when anatomy allows
  • Chin dimpling / mentalis strain, down-turned corners (DAO modulation)
  • As part of the Nefertiti pattern for neck bands and jawline pull-down

For etched, static creases or volume-related shadows, we may add Dermal Fillers, Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides or gentle resurfacing.

Popular treatment areas (and my approach)

  • Forehead & glabella: balanced dosing to smooth lines while protecting brow support.
  • Crow’s feet: light, multi-point pattern for a softer eye area without flattening your smile.
  • Brow shaping: selective inhibition for a subtle lift (case-dependent).
  • Lower face & neck: mentalis, DAO, and platysma when pull-down vectors mark the jawline (see Nefertiti Lift).

“Baby Botox” (micro-doses) is available for prevention and first-timers who want ultra-subtle change.

The appointment, step by step

  • Photos & mapping of expression patterns
  • Skin prep and optional numbing
  • Micro-injections with ultra-fine needles in targeted points
  • Aftercare briefing and optional check visit at ~2 weeks for fine-tuning

Time in clinic: ~20 minutes.

Back to routine: immediately.

Aftercare & timeline

  • Avoid rubbing the area, vigorous exercise, sauna/steam for 24 hours
  • Keep the skin clean; makeup after a few hours if intact

Onset: ~3–5 days

Peak: 10–14 days

Typical duration: 3–5 months, varying with dose, muscle strength and metabolism. We plan light maintenance to keep results consistent and natural.

Who is (and isn’t) a candidate?

Good candidates want softer expressions, look rested  without changing their facial identity.

Not treated in cases of pregnancy/breastfeeding, active skin infection at injection sites, certain neuromuscular disorders, or recent events/medications that increase risk (reviewed in consultation).

Safety & transparency

  • Conservative, anatomy-led dosing; no one-size-fits-all units
  • Layer-aware placement to minimise brow/eyelid heaviness
  • Medical-grade asepsis and documentation every session
  • If a line is skin-driven (not muscle), we recommend skin-focused solutions rather than over-relaxing muscles

Anti-wrinkle vs Mesobotox (what’s the difference?)

  • Anti-wrinkle injections: placed in muscle to relax movement lines.
  • Mesobotox: placed intradermally in micro-doses to refine pores, shine and micro-lines without weakening expression muscles. We may combine them when appropriate.

FAQs

Will I look “frozen”?

No. Mapping and micro-dosing preserve natural movement; the goal is relaxed, not rigid.

Most patients refresh every 3–5 months; intervals may lengthen as muscles condition.

A subtle lift is possible when your brow–forehead balance allows it; we assess this carefully first.

If a crease is etched into the skin, we pair toxin with Skin Boosters/Polynucleotides/resurfacing or selective filler support.

No formal downtime—minor redness or tiny marks clear within hours; occasional small bruises resolve in a few days.

Thoughtful combinations

  • Nefertiti Lift for neck bands and jawline definition
  • Slim Lower Face (Masseter) for clenching or lower-face width
  • Dermal Fillers for volume-related shadows
  • Skin Boosters / Polynucleotides / Chemical Peels for texture and glow

What to expect from your first consultation

  • Duration – Around 45 minutes, in person or by secure video for international patients.
  • Assessment – Standardised photos (and 3D imaging when useful) to analyse your face from different angles.
  • Discussion – Clear conversation about your goals, what bothers you, and any anatomical or medical constraints.
  • Plan – A step-by-step treatment proposal (often combining surgical and non-surgical options) with recovery times and key milestones.
  • No pressure – You leave with a clear roadmap and all your questions answered, without any obligation to book surgery that day.
